On tap at Tony's Darts Away in Burbank, CA.

Pours a hazy yellow with a foamy off-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and grape flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty but the grape presence is fairly subtle in my opinion.

On tap @ the source. New release. New IPA (not gorilla based) with Topaz and Simcoe hops and 500 pounds of muscat flame grapes hand-pressed on-site.

A: Pours clear yellow with a half-inch thick white head which a few spots of lace.

N: Citrus (grapefruit, tangerine) with some vinous influence, tropicals (passion fruit and mango), extravagantly floral.

T: Follow the nose with some pine and fruitiness from the grapes. A bit of spice and lychee tropicals and citrus.

M: Moderate body and medium carbonation. Fruity citrus and mildly vinous finish with some sticky pine resin on the end.

O: Interesting experimental and they really nailed it. A grapy IPA hybrid with the hops forward and mild vinous balance. Well done.

Combination of IPA and white grapes. Apparently the iterations change the hops and types of grapes each batch. Nice hazy straw look to this beer and a gorgeous bouquet of grape skins, melon, orange and Chardonnay. This is a unique one that works really well.
