Chill hazed amber with a small head. Expected a darker beer really.
Smells sweet and woody. Fainter scent of scorched sugar and melon.
Starts out sweet and savory with a bitter melon aftertaste. Seems much less bitter after the first hop shock passes from the tongue. Mostly this is sweet and woody.
Mouthfeel is OK.
Overall it is OK. Nothing here stands out.

On tap at the brewery. Deep golden to amber colour. Pleasant aroma and flavour of fruity (citrus, tropical fruits) and piney (pine needles, resin) American hops. Still fairly smooth to drink (for a DIPA). Enjoyable.

Poured outta a can. Yellow orange like every other IPA. Smell of hops and citrus. Decent head. Mouth feel is dry with low carbonation. Taste is citrusy with a hop kick. Is not that boozy for a DIPA. More West coast IPA than NE. Overall solid beer but misses the mark a little; lots of good flavor but it all doesn't coalesce perfectly.

L - pours pale and clear
S - strong hoppy smell
T - you can definitely taste the alcohol since it's a 3x IPa
F - goes down a little heavy
O - not too bad for a 3x IPA but I've had better

Tasted at Hopwater Distribution and first beer of the night. The pour was perfect, nice picture perfect look. Crisp smell and went right in for a half glass dowsing. Good taste but then came the bitter bite. Expected a bit more of a smooth taste from the DIPA but still solid and expectations were met.

Cloudy, hazy copper with little carbonation and a finger of yellow, rocky head.
Smells really dank, of fried onions, caramel, orange zest and pine. Hints of pineapple and tropical fruit as well.
Tastes of dank, tropical fruit, and a smooth but refreshing, big dull bitterness that is really balanced.
Medium body, light carbonation, and a big, dry finish.
I got this in Oregon, and am drinking in Redding, CA, Jan 8th, 2018. Surprisingly awesome brew.

Deep amber colour with a thick white head. Aroma is very hoppy with a hint of citrus. Tastes piney with a citrus undertaste and slight tropical fruit. Aftertaste is a little to bitter for my taste but what did I expect from 9.5 abv. Prost!
