This Amber American IPA is essentially a hoppy red ale. It pours a beautiful red brown. Nice hop profile. It seems a bit watery, but it's certainly a drinkable beer and there's a bit of burnt aftertaste, but it is not as unappealing as it sounds!

I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured a clear amber with thin white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent had caramel malt presence. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with slight bitter finish against a slight sweet malt start. The mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.

Pours a slightly hazy amber brown, eggshell film for a head retains indefinitely.
Smells of caramel and biscuit malts with brown sugar and a light woody finish.
Biscuit and caramel malts with a dry woody and piney hop finish.
Medium body with a tingle of carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
Very tasty ale, nice malty aroma and a more balanced flavor leaning towards a stronger hop finish. Interesting balance and decent body, pretty easy to like. Not earth shattering, but worth trying for sure.
