A: Pours a clear golden color, no haze at all. Head was about the size of Jupiter, I lost a bit of the head over the side (I'll call it my pour out for fallen homies, whatever that means). Head dissipated a bit quickly and is now a thin layer of suds with splotchy lacing.
S: Malty with a zingy citrus left cross across the mug. Yeast and malts tend to dominate, with just a bare essence of the hops coming through. Faint doughy bread smell.
T: Lemon zest hop flavors right away, bitter, but low enough to let some of the fruity hop flavors come through. Malt base is solid. Flavors are quick to appear, and just as quick to vanish, this beer has ninja flavors.
M: Moderate/light body. Medium CO2. Alcohol warm nice. Dry on the palate.
D&N: I don't know why, I love (Anchor Summer Beer (Anchor Wheat)) like I do... Very tasty beer. Uber-refreshing. Crisp and clean with great aromas and flavors. I like beers that have me scratching my head trying to figure it out, and this on has it in spades. Highly recommended.

Can’t believe the low ratings, this is how a wheat ale should be done. Tight creamy head and clear golden body, light malt aroma, nice bready taste, velvety mouthfeel. Near perfectly crafted.

Somehow forgot to rate this one from years past, having again now and my feelings are the same. Not enough wheat in taste, and in its place is grass, and blonde malts, also has a soapy aftertaste with the orange and lemon. This is odd because the smell has a good bit of grains and citrus, go figure. Will admit the feel is very summertime, light, bright and crisp. Would only have on a hot day

12 oz. Bottle
Pours a nice yellow color, nice carbonation, with a pretty nice small off-white head, which leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, yeasty, with some citrus. The taste is hoppy, malty, kinda yeasty, citrusy. Medium body, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

Drank right from the 12oz can.
Malt, wheat, yeast, lemon, some spice and hop bitterness. What's not to like? Not to mention that I drank 5 on a hot summer's eve at a neighbor's get-together and walked home with my wits in tact.
A decent summer refresher.

A yellow wheat beer that shows off its haze below a 3/5" white head. Solid retention. Aroma was grainy wheat, lemon.
Taste added to those and threw in some spice rack coriander, more lemon, substantial bitterness for style. Packs a good amount of flavor into a lighter bodied brew.
