22oz bottle, plastic hotel cup,
It's a dark brew, the highlights are hues of brown, and the head is a couple of fingers in fawn.
The expected aroma comes through as oreo crust, though there's a metallic caramel that dominates. Additional molasses and coffee with sugar.
The metallic theme continues in a sweet, thin, simple, flavor reflecting off of roast that contributes some bitterness. I don't find it outright unpleasant, but would not buy again. How's that for an endorsement?
In a word, thin. Carbonation levels are medium-high and just promote the feeling of no substance.
It tastes a little like oreos, sorry Joe-Joe's, and it isn't a very good sweet stout.

22 oz bottle from T-J's.
Look: dark brown but essentially black and opaque in the glass. The body is topped by a tan head with good retention and lacing.
Aroma: appealing and lightly sweet with chocolate notes.
Flavor: follows the aroma. Despite the name, this is only very lightly sweet and, unlike my favorite Joe-Joe cookies, has no detectable mint.
Feel: full body with lively carbonation that seems a touch too high.
Overall: a well crafted stout with added cocoa.

Picked up at TJs. Let’s give it a whirl. Pours to a jet black with coarse dark brown head. Smells sweet and malty. Taste is roasted malts almost coffe-like and sweet at the same time. Desert beer! Not a sessioner but good.

I knew this was a gimmick beer and I fell for it. I mean, who doesn't want to drink cookies. It's a bit thin for my liking, especially for a stout. There's something off about this beer, and I'm not sure what it is. Very little cookie or chocolate flavors.

Looks about right - jet black with khaki head. Chocolate smell but taste is kind of thin. I'm not getting the sense of 'cookie', just feels like a stout with something missing -- no real char or roast to it. Feel is slick, maybe a little oily.
Overall, felt like a gimmick -- checked it off and don't need to do it again.

22 oz bottle. Pours dark brown with tall, creamy, brown head and nice lacing. Aroma is of toasted malt, dark fruit, marshmallows and chocolate. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Taste is of toasted malt, herbal hops, chocolate, brown sugar, dark fruit and roasted grain. Finish is long and semi-dry. Very nice brew.

22oz bottle, no apparent freshness date. Dark brown ale with a towering tan head that holds good retention. Roasted & charred grain, dark chocolate that smells a bit artificial, anise, and earthy hops for aroma. Bold roasty flavors of dark chocolate, roasted barley, astringent black patent malt, earthy & leafy hops, faint cookie that becomes a little more pronounced as it warms. Medium-full body, moderate carbonation, finishes well balanced. Overall, I expected the cookie to come out more, but in a way I'm glad it doesn't. Good stout with a unique ingredient.

Taste: dry roasted malt grainy, thin slight sweetness. Same with the nose. Black, opaque, tall tan foamy head, ring of lace. Medium to med/light body. Missing something.
