12oz bottle poured into 14oz teku. Poured a murky light orange color with over an inch of white head that had very good retention and good lacing.

The aroma was dominated by a musty, stale hop scent, with just a bit of grain underneath. The hops were a wee touch brighter on the tongue, mostly citrus on the finish, but the overall mustiness was still dominant.

The body had good carbonation, was crisp, and had a semi-dry finish. Drinkability wasn't that pleasant, due to the scent and flavor. Overall, not the brewery's best work. Avoid.

Bottled August 29th 2018.

Pours a lightly hazy orange gold with a massive head of foam, lots of bubble activity.

Smells of orange zest, grapefruit, some grass, toasted malt, lemon.

Orange zest and grapefruit taste with some grass, lemon grass, zesty hop profile overall. Tiny presence of toasted malt. The hoppiness comes across as harsh at times during the session. Some sweet notes in the finish but not enough to counteract this citrus bomb.

Mouthfeel is nice..the carbonation isn't as high as I anticipated.

Interesting and enjoyable.

Golden orange color with a thick head with great retention and leaving a wall of laces.
Aroma with notes of pine, biscuit, orange drops, tea and mint.
Interesting flavor with notes of melon mix, pine, tea leaves, biscuit malt, watery peach juice, tangerine drops, a bit of ginger and their trademark Anchor twist. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light creamy body that feels medium.
American IPA with an original flavor with notes of pine, tea and some sort of disconnected tropical.

Pours a somewhat foggy, bright and brassy golden orange color, with visible clarity. Brilliant and large foam cap head, retains well and leaves plenty of lacing.
In the nose, I first detect candied orange, grapefruit, and a burst of tropical fruit, including pineapple and mango. Midway, grassy and pine aromas develop, along with a hint of herbal dank.
Taste opens up clean and dry. Muted flavors of pineapples, grapefruit rind, orange peel and peach are subtle, dry and develop over time. An earthy flavoring of hops takes over midway, adding sharp and prickly pine needles and spicy grass. The finish has a zesty quality that is both citrusy and piny.
Medium to light bodied with a nice crispness to it. The carbonation has a nice tingle to it.
Been a while since I had an Anchor Brew. Nice to break away from the hazy juicy IPAs and to drink one that is crisp, simply made, understated and with a nice session ability to it.

On tap at Anchor Public Taps. Pours a slightly hazy orange with a half inch of head. Lots of lacing. Fruity aroma of pineapple, yuzu, mango and grapefruit. The taste is pineapple, pine, yuzu, sweet grapefruit and tangerine. Fruity with a hint of tartness. Piney finish with some light bready malt flavor. Medium body with a slightly dry mouthfeel. Solid IPA for sure.
