On-tap at Rapp Brewing Company, Seminole, FL
A: The beer is slight hazy light pale yellow in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a narrow ring of white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of sour wheat are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a light amount of sourness with faint hints of lemons.
M: The beer is a bit more than light-bodied and slightly tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. There is also a yogurt-like creaminess.
O: The sourness of this beer is more subdued compared to other beers in the style.

I had never heard of this style, so I asked and was told this was a German sour brewed with pilsner malt instead of wheat.
Tastes kind of like a mix of a Berliner and a Gose. At 6.9% ABV it packs a nice punch for a sour. I tasted it and immediately got a growler filled. If you like sours you'll like this. Very refreshing, I could drink this all day in Florida .
