On-tap at Rapp Brewing Company, Seminole, FL
A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of smoke are present in the nose along with hints of sourness.
T: The taste follows the smell and has some stronger flavors of sourness, but the smokiness still stands out.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer combines a nice amount of smokiness with sourness. The sourness becomes stronger as it warms up and becomes on par with the smokiness.
Serving type; on-tap

This was described to us as hot dog water...and that's usually the point where most people will ask what else is on tap.
Lichtenhainer pours a cloudy maize with no head--in other words, we start off solidly living up to that sterling pitch we were given by the owner's daughter.
And yep, there it is, upon first sniff. It actually does give off the aromas of how it was described pretty spot on, but only at first. It does get more complex if you don't turn your nose up to it completely.
It's more like a smoked brat, with sauerkraut on top. This is a sour beer, after all. The malts were smoked, then the beer was soured. It a combination that not a lot of breweries have been brave enough to try so I'll give them that.
On top of the smoky, umami elements was some tang. Not just in the sauerkraut realm, but actually closer to lemonade.
So basically what this beer is conveying is you're on a picnic in Cleveland and stuffing your face with everything at the table.
