can't believe this is even a beer, one of the most complex amalgamations of flavors ever I've tasted. it's like veruca salt tasting the full dinner chewing gum, the tastes and texture just keep changing. OMG indeed!

Batch 9.5 (2013). No lacing or head whatsoever. Flavor is dark fruits everywhere. Sweetness, but not cloying. Feels like I'm drinking a fine port. Oh how I loved this.

This beer is crazy good, it poured out with very little to look at other than it's brown color even with an aggressive pour. The smell of the beer is full of dark fruits and dark sugary notes. The taste has just about the same types of flavors you'd expect from the aroma. The feel is more like a port wine, sort of like Sam Adams Utopias only a lot better in my opinion. Overall this was a real treat.

An extremely interesting beer. You can taste all the subtleties of fermentation and a great novelty. Would love this on a cold night next to a camp fire. Going to age 3-5 years and see how it goes!

500 mL bottle with a t-cork. Batch 008.

Appearance - Pours a viscous deep brown body. No head. Kinda murky looking.

Smell - Deep molasses. Chocolate. Booze. Some dark fruits.

Taste - Much fruitier up front. Astringent and sweet. Chocolate comes through more in the back end, but it's mostly a molasses malt flavor.

Mouthfeel - Flat. Boozy. Heavy.

Overall - It's a good beer, but it's kind of a novelty. Notably drinkable for it's size, but as many of these beers go, it isn't remarkable enough to warrant drinking such a huge beer.
