Pours a cloudy gold with a small head that laces the glass.Smells of lemon, grapefruit and dank ness to it.The taste is sweet grapefruit .Light bodied with light carbonation.I like it a lot, fruity with a dry lingering finish.Another winner from Sante Adairius.

L: An apricot hue with a thin beige head that left it's mark in a solid ring followed by sparse clumps of lacing below.

S: Lemon curd smothered biscuits and a floral note as well.

T: Follows the nose with mild bitterness and a bit or citrus and grapefruit hiding in the background.

F: Medium body and carbonation. A little oily a mouthfeel.

O: This was a fine beer, albeit a bit average and safe today. A straight-forward and simple IPA as the name might imply.

16 oz. can. Hazy orange. Smells of citrus, dried grass, and light pale malt. A touch of acidic fruit. Tastes of grapefruit, sweet fruity hops, with some grassy hops in the back end. A touch of sweetness. Medium body with a slightly creamy texture. Smells like a hazy IPA and tastes halfway between a hazy and a real IPA. Good.

Fresh can from lupulo. Only 2 days old!
Look: opaque gold. Less hazy than the usual sara ipa. Great head as usual.
Smell: stonefruit, grapefruit, pine
Taste: honeydew melons, grapefruit juice, slight pine resiny bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium-thin and dry. Drinks like a very low abv beer.
Overall: this is another solid sara ipa. I wasn’t expecting to like this too much but it’s really good. A little lighter bodied than their average ipa/dipa. Good for summertime.

On tap at Green Cheek in Costa Mesa, CA.

Like walking into the Louve, right from the start you know that you are in for a good one. Pretty standard darkish yellow haze, but the aroma blows up on you like The Bismarck during its last voyage. Taste is ok, but not as big as the aroma. To be honest, I might even backtrack here. Forget The Louve and think of some random museum in Helsinki. Yeah, it’ll do, but it’s not the best. Flavor falls a bit flat actually. There is an initial tropical burst, but it doesn’t finish the job like Ron Jeremy.

Not bad, and a lil better than ok.

Sweet orange citrus hoppy nose on this one. Taste follows with a prominent hoppy bitterness and slight nutty finish. This interferes a bit with the swallow. It has decent depth and so so feel.

Had this the first time at the source, was at the very beginning of our California/Baja trip that year (2016). Pours a light amber/yellow color, almost 1/2" of white head. Aroma was some of the more bitter hop feels to it. A little bit of pineapple along with grapefruit.

Taste leads the way with a substantial Simcoe bitterness and flavor quotient, good biscuit like malt presence, not too heavy or sticky, but offering a more firm backdrop than something flaked. Its a fairly common ipa about the time when C hop bitterness lent itself to the Simcoe hop and the minimization of crystal malt. It is fairly easy to drink and pretty much a well made beer. While it isn't the style of beer that put their name on the map, it is a nice showing of a well rounded portfolio. Light toasted malt, slightly bitter grapefruit, pine and pineapple flavors wrap up nicely. Pints are no problem and a nice break between wild ales and saisons.
