750 mL bottle. Hazy orange. Smells of raspberry and cherry, but not a very fresh aroma. Some oak and stone fruit. Tastes of lemon tartness, raspberry before cherry, oak and a lingering sourness. Medium body. I think this bottle is pretty old and it shows. Fruit is faded and the sourness is a little muddied.

750ml bottle served in a SARA stemmed glass.

Pours a hazy, slightly opaque dark yellow body with hints of orange hue. One finger white head, good retention, nice rings of lacing. Smells of lactic acid, oak, a little bit of cheese, raspberries. Not a ton of cherry, but it's there. It seems to bring out more of the Cask 200 base beer in the aroma which has funkified a fair amount with plenty of fruit. Flavour is excellent; not too fruit-forward but it all came together to put on a show on my palate. Lacto, cheese, oak, moderate acidity, mild funk, raspberries with a touch of cherry pit. It's not fruit juice, but it works for me. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, fairly solid and slightly creamy, but for the most part dry and refreshing. Overall, this was another great beer from SARA and I would definitely go after this again if they release something similar.

The beer is a reddish orange with a medium fizzy head. Little to no lacing. Clouded over. The aroma is wonderfully fruity with a pretty good dose of funk depth. It’s chock full of berries and cherries. Gentle but firm acidity makes the fruit bright and jammy. Earthy funk provides wonderful depth of character. Excellent mineral character. The taste is medium light tart and full of fruit. The finish picks up the pucker somewhat. Fresh grain and funky saison backbone. Very easy to drink. A wonderful balance of saison and fruit flavors. Delicious.

Pour is mostly clear darker amber with a tight white head. Nose is vinous, vanilla oak, cherry pie filling, some dusty brett. Flavor has some maltiness up front, a little dirty, lighter oak, vinous red grape, cherry pie filling, almost like a rose. High carb, fuller body, a touch sweet, very low acidity.

thanks mark, enjoyed side-by-side a fruit punch 2. simply gorgeous look. 1 is a murky orange with a glow vs the fruit.ounch deep magenta of 2. both stunning, but fruit punch 1 runs away with it on the nose and taste. the xherry and raspberry are the ideal counterparts. this is a grand slam.

A- Pours a light pinkish-orange in color with a small and whispy head. Lacing is minimal due to the size of the head. The body of the beer is very hazy in the glass. Overall, this beer pours and looks just as you would expect for the style.

S- The first scent in the nose is of mildly tart and funky base saison. There is a good dose of musty grains in there before it moves more towards the fruit. Tart cherries are more prominent than the raspberries, but the raspberries are there underneath. Lingering smell is a combo of fruit and the return of tart and dry saison notes.

T- First impression on the tongue is a bang of fruit and tart saison. This combo is fairly sour, with some dry tartness from the base beer and some fruity tartness from the fruit. Again, like the scent, the cherries are more prominent than the raspberries at first, but the raspberries make a comeback as the drink warms. Towards the middle to end of the drink the flavor turns back more towards saison, with a returning dry tart flavor and a funky, barnyard flavor. The mustiness and the fruit linger on the tongue for a good bit after the drink ends.

M- Neither the tartness or alcohol affects the drinkability of this beer. It drinks rather smoothly for a saison, with a certain amount of creaminess. Carbonation levels are much lower than most in the style. The fruit makes the beer feel fairly jammy on the palate as well.

Overall, this beer is a phenomenal example of the fruited saison style. The fruit flavors are blended in subtly and delicately with the base saison. I am most impressed with the beer's ability to be both sour and fruity at the same time. It is not quite completely jammy, but it gets as close as a saison can. In the end, this is a great beer.

Left an awful lingering taste in my mouth that wouldn't go away. Had very high expectations for this one. It was good until after I swallowed and then bad lingering flavor took over.

Really interesting. Does, in fact, have the distinct taste of a light, watery red kool-aid. Would probably be terrible in the hands of an average brewery, but the famous SARA 'mineral' quality of its water saves this. The body is light, but still has character.

Bright pink in color. Smelled and tasted of fruit punch. Truly. So much fruit flavor. Not quite as good as fruit punch #2, but very similar. I hope to see more from this series.
