750ml bottle, "batch 3", poured into a Hill Farmstead "bulb" wine glass.
The beer pours a bright lemon color, cloudy, amber hues with a foamy white head, moderate retention, decent height, and spotted lacing. The aroma is nice, soft grain, lightly floral, earthy funk, peppercorn, oak, white grape, and distinctly Sante mineral water. The flavors are good, modest funk, earthy and dry, peppercorn, lightly floral with a nice earthiness, white grape, grassiness, Sante cultures, mineral water and a nice base of cereal grain. The mouthfeel is good, lively and crisp with a mild tartness, medium body that finishes with a dry bite.
Verdict: A nice saison from Sante. Pleasantly grassy and earthy, nice funk yet bright with white grape and wildflower that really helps balance this beer.

On tap at CBC 2016, day 2. Pale yellow with a white head. Light and dry, with notes of lemonade, white wine and subtle floral hops.
