Other Half collab with sante, clever name.
First time havin anything from Other Half, over heard great things. This is a barrel aged golden ale with lime juice and zest according to the chalk board.
poured into a sante glass
love the label! looks great in the glass, looks like a golden ale for sure. nice 2 finger head
aroma is crisp tartness, base golden ale comes thru nicely.
taste is great, starts out a bit plain but as it warms it really opens up, tartness comes up through with a delicious golden ale base! i can taste the lime and it's just the right amount, was a bit worried it would be over the top
mouthfeel is fantastic, again that golden ale base comes thru here. nice and thick bodied sour that is well carbed
overall this was a fun collab. from what i know of OH they could have taken the easy way and made a double ipa. going out of the box was a good move. i'd let it sit on the bottle a bit longer to really make the sourness come through a bit stronger. recommend!
