Notes: Much Appreciated, a double version of our beloved Appreciation, aged twice as long with twice the fruit. This jammy, vinous ale was purposefully carbonated low to accentuate it's wine-like characteristics.

750ml bottle, 2018 Cellar Release, poured into a 12oz wine glass. Enjoyed on 07.04.2018, reviewed from Tasting Journal.

The beer pours a beet red color, garnet and blood hues that is thick and opaque with a few pinkish bubbles but no real height, retention, nor lace. The aroma is wonderful, bursting with boysenberry and incredibly jammy, tart, seedy, fleshy with great red wine character, citrus acidity with soft oak and a great funk profile. The flavors are excellent, super jammy boysenberry, tart and fleshy, seedy and bursting with berry flavor, vibrant red wine plays so well with the fruit while the oak offers a bit of a sturdy backbone and the funk is so well developed and the finish is mineral water laden with classic Sante house cultures and light citrus peel. The mouthfeel is fine, the carbonation is noticeably missing but that is as advertised, lighter medium body that is thick and almost chunky that finishes with a tart and dry bite.

Verdict: A polarizing but delicious beer. Surely the lack of carbonation will bother many but the rewards in this beer are plentiful. A beautiful expression of fruit, funk and wine barrels.

The clean, fruity, mineral aroma is slightly reminiscent of some of 3F's offerings imo. Taste is super jammy and perfectly tart.

Pours as a ruby red color with no head or much of any carbonation. Pours very similar to a wine. The smell of the beer has a vibrant fruit aroma with some funk in the mix. The taste of the beer is very nice, lots and lots of fruit flavors from start to finish. The feel of the beer is good but I would have liked it to be a little more bubbly. Overall it's a solid beer and worth trying for sure.
