Sweet and tart, hint of farmhouse funk, fruity-lemoney zesty, and hint of oak nose on this one! Taste follows with a beautiful, clean and crisp, lemon-fruity, funky swallow...with a hint of oak barrel on the finish. The barrel character starts to peek out a bit more as it warms. This is just so well-balanced...fantastic saison!

750ml capped bottle. Teku glass. Pours a cloudy, unfiltered golden body, slight straw yellow hue, one finger frothy white head, good retention. A small amount of lacing. Smell is wet oaky funk, lemon, a bit of straw and hay, a bit of white truffle, intermediate acetic acidity, a bit more oak, a bit of vinous character. This follows through on the palate. Complex, light leather, slightly dry, big lemon and a touch of pineapple- but with a dry, light acidic feel, white grape must, a bit of lemon rind on the finish. Complex, as geuze-like as any other American blends. Medium in body, slight citrus rind on the finish, slight lemon zest lingering on the palate.
