I'm no poet, but this beer makes me want to learn that art.

I know that sounds contrived and idiotic, but, at least to me, it makes sense.

This is the best American interpretation of the Dupont style saison I've had and I don't expect that to change any time soon.

On draft at the brewery
A: A copper golden color with a small ring of head around the glass. Fairly underwhelming for the style. I think this could benefit from a heavier carbonation/keg conditioning.
S: Floral, Ocean breeze(saltyness),clove, citrus,cereal grain(maybe rye?)
T: A little more muted than the smell. Floral, clove,Citrus, Cereal grains, strong mineral component that I'm not extremely fond of.
M: Fairly thin, soft, rather low carbonation. has a creamy aspect to it. Finishes on the palate very crisply.
O: I always prefer the style to have a big billowy head that sticks around longer than your wifes mom when she was only supposed to stay the weekend. This lacks that and I think a bit more carb would turn to volume up on the smell and taste of this beer. Overall it is immensely drinkable, or chuggable even. Could probably kill 2 full growlers of this on a nice summer day.
