Poured a jet black with a Caramel colored head.First smell says cocoa, chocolate ,toffee and coffee. The body is a light medium feel.As the beer warms ,more of the chocolate characteristics come forward. The taste matches the smell ,cocoa, coffee, with a slightly dry finish. Its a good solid porter. There are others I prefer for more intense chocolate ,coffee notes.

Nice Porter with a roasty, coffee like nose and a matching flavor. Pleasant and clean with a good malty body and a hearty roast character. Body is a little thin but otherwise a lovely beer.

Freshly canned release from brewery.
L: super dark brown with tan fluffy creamy head.
S: roast coffee, chocolate, bread.
T: Coffee, chocolate, burnt, brownie, black licorice + estery notes.
F: fairly full then dry finish.
Overall: super solid for style. All the flavor complexity of any above-average stout.

Had at the Santa Cruz Portal. Was a nice rich brown body with a light tan head. Smell and taste were of a roasty malt pleasant flavor. I'm a fan.

Keg blew after just half a pint poured. Good amount of lasting head, of course. Dark, creamy texture with coffee, chocolate aroma and taste. Nice, subtle toasty flavor too. Don't drink porters too often, but this was a nice change of pace.
