I was hyped to hear that a new nanobrewery was opening in Capitola, and after some delays I have to say that they exceeded my expectations. Tim and Adair are really nice people who put their hearts into making something special, and it shows. Even though the place is tiny (seats about 16 or so), it has a nice open ambiance with good music always playing and simple decorations highlighting the raw ingredients used in the brewing process. 6 taps as of now, with the lineup always changing but all their creations are loosely Belgian/farmhouse inspired and delicious. Make sure to try the Brewer's Beard and Nonna's Blend if possible, and look out for bottles to hit the local markets soon. A great start for a great local brewery making unique and tasty beers!

Smaller place, not abundant seating but has a nice vibe and outside patio with pretty darn tasty beers on tap (and to go).

I had heard great things about this brewery so a stop was made to find out the details. Great beers and worthy of the hype! The brewery is located in an industrial-like building among other similar buildings. (See note below.) It's a small taproom with some outside seating at picnic tables with shade umbrellas. The vibe is nice, and service was from a counter to order your beers.
There were 10 beers on tap but they don't offer a sampler glass-sized pour to try a variety of the beers. However, half pours are available so we were able to try 4 of them to arrive at an overall evaluation for this review. We scored all 4 beers at 4.25 so it's likely the other can only be as good or better. All beers were served in proper glassware.
There is no food served at this location (there is at the Santa Cruz Portal), and I didn't see any indication of snacks being available. Growlers and howlers are available as well as bottles and some cans (some of which were not on tap that day). This place is very worthy of a visit and is highly recommended if you're a fan of wild ales.
Note: If you're following GPS (Garmin) to get to this place, and if the instructions guide you into a mobile home park, stop, turn around and get to the main street off of which you turned. There is no short-cut street thru this mobile home park. You have to approach the brewery from the east via Kennedy Dr. off of Park Ave, or Monterey Ave.

Great spot! This review is for the Santa Cruz Portal...Cool spot (with parking! Yay!) and great santa cruz vibes here! Quality of brews is fantastic and the food is pretty good too. In house, homemade breads and pretzels!

I visited the Brewery and Tasting room for the first time in June 2018 on a Thursday afternoon about 5pm. There were only about 5 other customers, so I grabbed one of the stools at the small bar. Luckily for me, West Ashley was on tap, and the others at the bar were eager to regale the qualities of Sante Adairius. It was a great combination of world class beer and beer geekery.
Between my visit to the taproom and the Santa Cruz Portal (about 10 minutes away), I came away amazed at the skills of the brewers of Sante Adairius. The IPAs were delicious, and the wild ales were world class. I'm trying to think of a brewery I've visited that had overall such high quality across a range of styles, and I can't think of one. Sante Adairius is a true gem, and worth a visit even if it means going out of your way.

This review is for their location in Santa Cruz. I went with my wife and son on a Saturday afternoon. Crowded, but nice relaxed vibe. Stood in line to get beer. Not too long, but longer than I would like. Nice, but not overly friendly. Beer was excellent and they had games to play. Will be back.

Really loved this place, had that low-key Santa Cruz vibe.
The beers were excellent and the service was good. They also have it where you can get Apto's BBQ delivered which is nice.
There is not a huge selection of beers on the board, but they did have a couple IPA's, sours and one porter available when I was there.
Based on the quality of their beers I will be stopping by whenever I am in town.

Google maps is useful to find this if you aren't from around the area. Once there the bartender was friendly although the brewer didn't seem particularly interested in chatting up the place. Which was ok because the beer was great and it was relaxing just being there. Hours are kind of odd from mid afternoon through the early evening but I was on vacation so it didn't matter. Wish there'd been more bottles to go.
