Draft at the pub: pours deep dark brown with a creamy off white head that subsides leaving generous lacing that persists. Mold aromas of caramel and dark toffee. In the mouth this is expanded with toast and hints of coffee, licorice. Not overly heavy

Draft: Poured a medium brown color ale with a small foamy head. Aroma of caramel malt with some light toffee notes also discernable. Taste is also dominated by some sweet caramel malt with some light toffee notes with no apparent hops presence. Not bad overall but nothing to wrote home about either.
