Pours a clear golden color with just about no head. Appears limp and lifeless with very fine bubbles but lacing is just not possible. The aroma is bright and hoppy, with some citrus and semi tropical notes. The taste is very tropical, some mango, papaya and pith, and light malts. The body is very lightly carbonated and damn near flat. Awful. She's gone ladies and gentlemen. Different than the positive reviews, this is on draft. People swear by this, but it's kind of like drinking McDonalds Sweet Tea with added tropical fruit flavor ontap with a watery texture. Try a bottle based on the recent reviews.

12 oz bottle. Undated

Pours a dark amber orange with a thin, dense creamy white head. Minimal lace or retention. Old nose of leafy Citra, earth, dirt, and sweet, sweet bread. This is the problem with not dating bottles. You buy a bottle local to the brewer expecting it might be half way fresh and then... this happens. Flavor hints at what is probably a nice citrus-y IPA, but instead bready malt and grassy, dirty bitterness dominates with lingering citrus juiciness. I'll give FW benefit of doubt that this isn't best sample and revisit if I see this on draft. Otherwise, eww.

Not feeling the techno on this one. Not hoppy nor malty. Ok in a pinch.

12oz bottle poured into Spiegelau IPA glass. Pours a mostly clear amber color with just a little head. Lacing is spotty and light. Fruity scent. Feel lacks any texture. Behind the hop bitterness I sense a fruit punch-like flavor but there's emptiness in the middle of the taste. Glad I only bought a single. Not memorable. (7.0)

Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a glossy burnt yellow/somewhat copper color. Quickly dissipating finger's worth of white foamy head that fell off with some adequate semi-sliding stringy lace.
The aroma smelled like orange marmalade with a touch of tobacco/earthy hops, some citrus pulp, light grassy sweetness and a little bit of biscuits.
The flavor seemed to meld all of the previously mentioned aromas together mainly sweet adding just a touch of some earthy dryness. Clingy orange marmalade aftertaste gliding along.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Finish was slightly sticky with a touch of heat.
Overall, why is it every IPA I've been trying lately coming from PA has this "orange marmalade" flavor? I mean, it's not bad, just thinking out loud, I guess. I could still drink this again.
