Glad I went here on my last trip to Boston. Amazing.

First, anyplace that has Founder Breakfast Stout on tap has got a warm place in my heart!! Amazing!!

While not huge, their beer selection was full of quality. Maybe a dozen on tap and another bottles/cans.

Food is qite something. We ordered a variety of meats, cheeses, etc and they brought it all out on a cutting board. Nice presentation. All amazingly tasty!!

Overall, this is a must stop if you are in Beantown!!

Solid taplist right across the street from the Back Bay T stop. Location is definitely the biggest draw for me. I've heard about their charcuterie and cheese plates but I've never indulged; I'm sure they're delicious with a cold beer. The tap selection (~12) is solid and rotates quite often. I've enjoyed Breakfast Stout, beers from Foundation and Trillium all on tap at various times. I believe KBS is known to show up every now and again during the Spring and there have been some events hosting out of town breweries during festivals. Vibe is downtown-Boston-post-work; I'm more of a casual slob but it's welcoming. Easy spot to post up and chat. Bar tenders have almost been attentive and professional. Good spot for a beer. Personal pet peeve that you can find their cocktail and wine menu online but not the tap list.

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday afternoon. There's an outdoor patio for seating, which must be nice in the summer. Inside, it's a bit cramped, but not bad. Open kitchen with a huge pizza oven at the front. We started with a round of beers and the Salty Pig charcuterie plate. Beers never came, so we had to ask for them. Just about finished with the plate when they arrived. Next course was pizza. Thin crust, not huge, but enough to share. Very tasty food all around. Beer selection was good, with only craft on the menu. Prices were a bit steep for beer. I'd recommend coming for dinner next time, as the lunch menu is already set for the meat platters, so you cannot customize the order to your particular tastes, as our waitress said you can at night. Overall, a fun stop for lunch.

This may be the best beer eatery in the Boston area. Think restaurant first, beer location second. As the name suggests, this is more about the charcuterie than anything else. The meats and cheeses are as close as you will get to a European picnic in the US.

The beer is top end but limited. Great variety by style, but not within the style. So, you can pair your beer with what you eat well, but if you interested in trying different versions within the style, you'll have two choices at most. That said, this is the place I like to take non-beer folks visiting Boston to have a great meal and perhaps expand their libation palate.

Atmosphere: This place is very inviting. I sat outside so I didn't really get a look at the inside. That being said, there was still a great atmosphere on the patio.

Service: The waiter that I had was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. He provided us with good service the entire time.

Selection: This bar offers a great selection of Local brews and American craft brews. They only have a dozen beers on taps but have over 25 to choose from in bottles. Most of the stuff was american but they did have a few Belgian gems.

Food and value: I didn't have anything to eat but as far as beer goes, they were fairly priced. This is definitely a good place to visit if you're in Boston. Oh and I love the washroom.

Went in there on my last night living in Boston with a group of people, so the concept of this place really worked. We sat on an 8 person hightop in the middle of the main bar floor, and despite our group size and the fact that people were coming and going at different times, the waitress was on top of all the orders, and ready to ask if we needed another drink just as the last one was finishing up.

You can get entrees here, but the main draw is building your own charcuterie plate. We went with this option so we would have different things for people to pick on throughout our time there. They had a great selection of cured meats and pates, and a good selection of cheese. Everything was delicious.

Now, to the beer. I missed the Heady Topper, but the selection was still solid. I believe they do a fair amount of rotating taps, but when I was there, I felt the bottle list was stronger than the tap list. Neither list is particularly long, but both were solid, and offered nice variety.

Even if you didn't know it before, you can tell immediately upon entering that this place is new. From the modern feel, to the energetic staff and clientele, there was just a nice vibe to the place.

Overall, worth coming back on visits and definitely someplace to try if you live and/or work near the area. Or if you don't.
