This IIPA, the latest addition in our hop-highlighting NvU Epic Battle series, has a bright, fresh hop aroma, and a subtle bitterness, that has us all talking about how crushable this is. (DISCLAIMER: Please do not actually crush beer while still in bottle and cap is still on. It will hurt…not that we know) Drink early, drink often.

A - Pours a hazy amber with a one finger creamy white head. Heavy amount of soapy lacing.

S - Aroma is orange, tangerine and caramel malts.

T - The taste follows the aroma with orange, pineapple, caramel malts and dank resinous hops.

M - Medium body with medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a soft finish.

O - Solid DIPA. The flavors are bright and lively. Easily drinkable at 9.5% abv.

Poured a clear orange color with golden highlights and a small, white head. It smelled of citrus fruits and floral notes. Nice bitter taste up front with sweet caramel and a touch of honey.

Appearance: Darker than I thought it would be: Dark golden orange with a thin cap of tiny bubbles leaves little to no lacing in the glass.

Aroma: Dank orange and hops, a little pine.

Taste: Spicy orange juice! Love that Amarillo hop!

Mouthfeel: Medium with that spicy orange and citrus lingering on palate.

Overall: A delicious IIPA! It's always great to get some Pipeworks beers and this one is tasty!

Another great ninja series beer from the boys at pdubs.

The appearance was a really hazy reddish-orange.

The aroma was big juicy citrus, orange, floral and dank resiny hop notes. Also some sweet malts

The tastes followed the nose with a big juicy orange and citrus along with the floral and dank resiny hop bitterness.

The palate was medium plus with a lingering resiny dank bitterness.

Overall this is another really solid ninja IIPA from arguably my favorite brewery.

22oz bottle poured into a tulip glass, no bottle date

A- pours a clear amber color with a small one-finger creamy white head that retains nicely after the pour, small patches of lace left behind

S- aroma is malt forward with some bready notes, not expected of the style. There are some fruity hop aromas popping through, along with some citrus notes.

T- fruity hops up front with notes of red berries, citrus peel, guava, honey and some floral notes. The hops provide plenty of flavor without bringing a lot of bitterness. Soft underlying bready malt, more fruity hops not he finish

M- medium body with medium carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel that continues into the finish, abv is hidden very well

O- not my favorite of this series but as the label states, very crushable for a DIPA
