BEER INFO

Brewed by:
Pipeworks Brewing Company
Illinois, United States
pdubs.net

Style: American Double / Imperial IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 9.50%

Availability: Rotating

Notes / Commercial Description:
This IIPA, the latest addition in our hop-highlighting NvU Epic Battle series, has a bright, fresh hop aroma, and a subtle bitterness, that has us all talking about how crushable this is. (DISCLAIMER: Please do not actually crush beer while still in bottle and cap is still on. It will hurt…not that we know) Drink early, drink often.

A: deep amber. Clear. Thick bubbles

S: citrus hops. Orange peel. Guava. Malt. Floral notes. Resin

T: biscuits. Hops. Resin. Hemp. Bitter lemon peel. Orange zest

F: crisp and bitter bite

O: idk what's going on but Chicago beers been letting me down. Been 2 years since I moved to Cali and just back to visit. Been plowing through so many CHI beers. Including this which I've had years ago and don't find it anywhere as good as i once thought.
