Pours amber in light amber in color with a vibrant orange haze to it and a good one finger white frothy head that has good retention.

Smell is hop forward and gives off a rich herbal and sweet floral aroma that is soft and creamy smelling. Really interesting but not as fruity as some of the other varieties of the series. Malt is caramel and mildly sweet smelling and works nicely with the yeast.

More hops are forward in the taste With more herbal hop flavors along with a slightly leek and garlic like flavor that makes for an interesting twist. Malt is caramel in flavor but mostly overshadowed by the hops.

Mouthfeel is good. Medium thick body works with big sticky hop oils and resin and cut with mild carbonation.

A - Nice orange color, white head dissipates to a thin ring, lacing sticking to the side of the glass.
S -A bit muted, something funky going on.
T -smooth, bitterness lingers. I'm getting some lemon rind.
M - a lot of hops
O - Meh. The funkiness is not good. A little too bitter for my tastes.

Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a slight orange hue and a thick two finger head of white foam.

Guava, papaya, melon, very tropical in aroma but lacks the pungency others in the Ninja series pack.

Flavor similar to flavor, definitely tropical in character with melony, guava, papaya, and slight mango notes, but a little lackluster.

Medium-bodied, high carbonation, resinous, tropical, sweet.

Overall, a little lackluster in comparison to others in the NvU series, but tasty nonetheless.

22 oz. bottle, with Batch #357/58 printed on the label. Yet another new DIPA creation from Pipeworks, expectations are moderately high based on this knowledge. My bottle lists a 10.00% abv.

Poured into a clear balloon snifter.

A - Pours a bright juicy golden orange colored body with about a finger and a half of fluffy creamy off-white head. Very bubbly with some nice scattered sticky lacing. Looks very nice.

S - Smell is comprised of dirty herbal hops - pine, grapefruit, mango, soapiness, and some underlying honeyed bread malts to round things off. Lightly tropical.

T - The hops aren't as dominant on this one as much as the others, but it is still nice. Dry, bready honeyed malt seems to take center stage, though. Herbal pine, mango, grapefruit, papaya fruitiness is in play. Lightly soapy / creamy. Again, lightly tropical, but more bready than anything, I would say.

M - Feel is smooth and creamy, with bready dryness on the finish mixed with some subtle hop resins. Medium bodied with good carbonation.

Overall, it is sadly not one of Pipeworks' better offerings in comparison to their other DIPA's, but it is still a nice beer. High 10.00% abv is extremely well-hidden, like most of their offerings. Worth a try but it pales when compared to some of the others.
