Fresh from an overseas adventure, the delightfully intrepid duo, Bunny and Bird, have teamed up to brew a splendidly hoppy English IPA with a crisp and clean English ale yeast. The brew is packed with an intriguing combination of juicy, tropical Australian Galaxy hops, and grassy, vinous German Hallertau Blanc. It's a positively tip-top combination that The Bunny and The Bird hope you will enjoy. Cheerio!

Sampled from a 22oz bottle I picked up during a recent visit to Chicago.

Copper with a slight haze and a moderate white head. Good lacing. Aroma is grassy, earthy hops with bready malts. Flavor is hop forward, even for an English IPA, with fruity notes, especially orange, and a nice lingering bitterness. A creamy, smooth texture with a low to moderate carbonation.

A great take on the English IPA! I loved it.

Had this on 2015-06-09 in Columbia, PA from a 22oz bottle

A - Mildly-hazy amber-orange with a 2.5-finger off-white head and moderate lace.

S - Tropical, candied-orange, melon, mild dank, bread and a very light touch of caramel.

T - Moderately hop-forward then some candied-orange, melon, biscuit, pine, mint tea, a bit of alcohol and a very nice trailing orange-peel bitterness. Dries nicely with a pleasantly-tamed but quite-evident citric bitterness.

M - Medium body and light-medium carbonation. Starts pretty smooth but some prickly resins creep in; in a good way.

O - I like this beer's balance point between the fruit sweetness, complimentary flavors (like mint tea) and the zesty bitterness. Would seek this out again.

An excellent hybrid authentic English Pale Ale and American IPA. I've had a few British pale ales, greatly enjoyed them (yes, something more/better than Boddington's), and sought them out with little success. Thankfully, this beer hits it right on the head. It starts out with the flavorful drinkability of an English pale ale and ends with the hop punch of an American IPA.
Excellent appearance, as it has a deep orange color, right in line with your average IPA.
The nose, much like the sip, is heavy on the English malt and lures you into a false sense of security before the hop attack at the end of the sip. The two come together to form a pleasing flavor at the end, one that is slightly more IPA.
The mouth feel is sprightly, it's well carbonated which seems to add to the vinous nature of the beverage.
