A best friend came back from Michigan to visit for the weekend so I wanted to treat him right with some great local brews.
First pour, dark golden yellow that looks crisp and no sediment. Second pour (for my friend) looked like an entirely different beer that was bright sun yellow and entirely opaque with a light yellow cloudiness (wow, there's a lot of sediment in this I was even very careful on the second pour). So I ended up evening out the sediment between the two glasses.
Smells heavily of pineapple and a little smokiness from the grill, very tropical and hoppy.
This is freaking amazing! Hands down the best pineapple brew I've ever consumed. All others I have tried are all the same, fermented fruit funk with a slight hint of pineapple (if any pineapple to note), but this, this is straight up pineapple in a glass and the grilled aspect gives it a whole new life.
Mouthfeel is smooth, tart, and incredibly refreshing, a wonderful summer beer.
Overall, like I said before, hands down the best pineapple beer I've had, ever.
