Released October 26, so right at a month old. I may have found a new favorite IPA. Typical citrus notes from the Citra hops, and all of the classy elegance of a well-made Pipeworks DIPA, but with enough honey and pineapple juice to round out the flavor profile and give it a superb balance. IPAs and rauchbiers are the only styles of beer that my wife doesn't care for, but she deemed this one "acceptable." I will call that a ringing endorsement.

Bottled 6/24/16; drank 7/4/16 @ the Yarchives.
Semi-opaque yellow/orange appearance; champagne bubbles throughout.
A rough pour yielded a huge white head; strong, frothy lace.
Pineapple, grapefruit & fresh ganja notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Pineapple & mild grapefruit flavors up front; sweet honey & mild booze heat notes on the finish.
A touch muted & boozy for the fish series; I had high hopes, but this was good, not great.

Poured a hazy orange with minimal head.
Smell sweet, citrus, pineapple.
Tastes follows, citrus, pineapple, honey sweetness.
Feels smooth, medium carb, hop bitterness that balances the honey.
Overall another tasty Pipeworks
brew.

Pours rather clear, with a nice lingering head. Aromas of honey, tropical fruit, pineapple. Tastes similar, honey sweetness upfront, followed by the pineapple and citrus notes. Great beer. Not heavy at all, and everything balances out. Bitterness from the hops tone down the honey and pineapple in harmony. Pipeworks does not wrong by me!

Served in a snifter glass from a 22oz bomber.
Appearance: Cloudy yellow to orange tinted body with medium bubbles to the frame. Subtle white head rising under quarter of an inch.
Smell: Light malt scent with I fused citrus skin.
Taste: Complex sweet Tangy orange, it's literally a palate crusher. Not overly bitter, has heavy citrus undertones with smooth hops.
Mouth: sticky smooth lemon and tangerine. Has sweet finish which offsets a bit with a bitter bread feel.
Overall: Incredible gift from a great friend. Like the cherry on top to a great work day. Always in a glass my friends, Salud!
