This IPA was brewed with late addition Mosaic hops and then we added Arcane vacuum distilled Galaxy and Vic's Secret hop oils. It's juicy, aromatic and just straight up delicious.

Pours hazy and golden from the bomber, with a finger of fluffy head and light retained lacing. Juicy and very crisp, with a bit of greenness to it. Some berry, some grass, lots of pineapple and mandarin orange.

Poured slightly hazy golden bronze with a finger of white foam. Smell his you hard with orange, lemon, pineapple, mango, slight grass, and big wafts of hop resin. Taste is dryer and milder than smell indicates, but still plenty flavorful: same fruits, little earthiness within hop resin and grass. Pretty dank and chewy in the feel, though a little rough around the edges with some booze

Pours a dark orange tinged muddy brown color. Completely opaque and sludgy in appearance. Thick pillowy white head exhibits excellent head retention. This would be much higher if not for the rather unappetizing brownish orange color to the beer.
Aroma is pungent with notes of tropical fruits, orange, pineapple, mango, and she bright green hop notes. Its amazing how aromatic this beer remains.
Taste follows the nose with notes of orange, pineapple, mango, and green bitter hops notes coming through on the back end. Nice light malty backbone peeps through.
Feel is light to medium bodied. Sprightly carbonation. However the beer stays pretty smooth throughout.
Overall a nice NEstyle IPA from Pipeworks. Enjoyable and tasty.

I’ll go with the consensus that the sequel is better than the original. When I poured the second glass, I said “Ooh, that’s pretty” out loud, because the fluffy half inch foamy head counteracted the almost muddy not very attractive tan/orange color. Smell is pure citrusy juice with a hint of dank. Taste is hops and citrus. Medium body, mouth watering, easy drinking, just plain damn delicious. They did the first one with citra, my favorite hop, so I’m thinking they really improved on the recipe if I enjoyed this one more.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 22 fl oz bottle on March 1, 2019. Brewed with distilled Galaxy and Vic Secret hop oils. Nice thick haze and tons of juicy fruit flavors.

650ml bottle, undated but released on 2.22.19 per the Pipework newsletter, poured into a Pipeworks etched snifter glass.
The beer pours a hazy and cloudy golden color, light honey hues with a finger of foamy white head that has moderate retention and yields small swatches of lacing. The aroma is nice, juicy and fragrant with lots of citrus zest, tropical fruits and a good floral bouquet that sits atop a soft pale grain base. The flavors are great and echo the nose nicely. Lots of lime zest, mango and pineapple puree, wildflower with a nice bitter hop resin character, grassy and green raw hop leaf and a sweet and easy doughy malt character with a nice mineral water finish. The mouthfeel is good, coating and delicate with a lively yet smooth texture, medium bodied and a sweet and lightly dry finish.
Verdict: A very good IPA from Pipeworks. Definitely falls in line with the New England hazy style and is both juicy and pungent while still having a nice earthy bitterness. Lots of lime character in this one which is a bit of a break from the mold but it works really nicely with the rest of the beer.
