Notes: Double dry-hopped oat IPA with Amarillo and Citra.

In this reality, this beer is round, textured, and layered with juicy Amarillo and Citra hops. We’re picking up fresh squeezed OJ, lime, & honeysuckle aroma. Label by @frangk_

Pours a bright yellow orange color. Completely opaque. Looks like Sunny D. Thin sudsy white head dissipates quickly.

Aroma has notes of grapefruit, citrus, with a dank hoppy aroma coming through as well.

Taste has notes of grapefruit, orange rind, lemon grass, lime and some honey like sweetness that all gives way to a grassy dank hop bitterness on the finish.

Feel is really smooth with a medium to full bodied mouthfeel. Moderate yet gentle carbonation. Bitterness provides a somewhat drying finish.

Overall a solid NE style IPA that fits right in with this series from Pipeworks.

Appearance: Pours a hazy orange cream color. Has enough haziness to almost give it a milky look. A prominent lacy that lingers.
Aroma: Complex fruit aromas here. Pineapple, orange citrus, tangerine, guava, mango, peach are all present. Not an overriding fruit.
Taste: Lots of orange, grapefruit and citrus. More citrus on the tongue. A honeysuckle and floral bitterness is present. A definite bitterness and bite that I was not expecting.
Feel: Light bodied, airy, but not overly creamy. Quite bitter on the finish. An astringency lingers. Less creamy than other NEIPAs. The bitterness is present, but still leans juicy and hazy, just not milkshake level. Finishes completely dry.

Overall: A citrus forward NEIPA, that is juicy for days. Complex fruit flavor profile. Nice mix of citrus, tropics, and stonefruit, enough to confuse me. Not creamy nor milkshake like. Has a floral, bitter bite that establishes itself giving it a lingering astringency at the end. Yet juicy overall and very drinkable.

16oz can, dated 05.17.19, poured into a Pipeworks etched snifter glass.

The beer pours a nice golden straw color, hazy with orange hues and a foamy white head that rises about a finger with modest retention but yields nice sticky lacing. The aroma is very nice, super dank, lots of weediness grassiness, floral, resinous and sticky pine, grapefruit peel, soft cereal grains and sweet yeast. The flavors are great, lots of grapefruit peel, really sappy pine, stick, resinous, grassy, herbal and floral that reads as very dank with a lingering flavor of cereal grains that are more prominent than they were in the nose. The mouthfeel is good, coating with a heavier medium body, nice liveliness and a dry and warm finish.

Verdict: A very good NEIPA from Pipeworks. Nice citra and simcoe character that's juicy, bitter, resinous and ultimately, very very dank. Definitely a worthy ale.

Can picked up fresh from the Dojo. Pours a nice bright golden color, opaque with a full finger of head. Some light hop burn on the nose accompanied by lemongrass, grapefruit, and aloe. Smoother on the palate, with some additional florals and orange.

Canned 9/26/19; drank 10/2/19 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque dull orange appearance.

A violent pour yielded a huge off-white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.

Oats, orange peel & cream notes in the nose.

Creamy medium mouthfeel.

Cream, oats & mild orange citrus flavors.

Fairly plain; easy to drink & easy to forget.

Had this on tap at Lodi tap house. This had a hazy orange look almost slightly cloudy. The smell had a lot of citrus with grapefruit, orange, and lemon. The taste was a little more dank than I thought it would be based on the aroma. The mouthfeel was nice and creamy.

16oz can, date stamped 05/17/2019. Murky and opaque yellowed body with a thick and creamy white head that holds good retention and leaves plenty of sticky lacing on the glass. Great aroma of passion fruit, lemon-lime, grapefruit, oats, and kumquat. Big and bold flavors; very zesty; notes of passion fruit, orange, lemon-lime, grapefruit, pine, lemongrass, and a heft of oats for malt. Creamy and very smooth body, quite resinous and it effectively builds tart bitterness on the palate, pine and grapefruit zest linger long after the finish. This is exceptional - I love that it is made with 2 of my favorite hops. This was precisely made and well worth the try. I'll need to find more before it's all gone!

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on June 19, 2019. Oat IPA brewed with Citra and Amarillo hops. Smell is honeysuckle. Taste is orange and lime. Feel is medium in body.
