22 oz. bottle, Batch #754. My first time trying this one from Pipeworks, their Berliner Style Weisse with Blueberries Added.
Poured into a Duvel tulip glass.
A - Pours a very impressive juicy reddish-purple body. Just over a finger of frothy pinkish-purple tinted white head. Head retention is short-lived, and there isn't really any lacing to speak of, but that color is amazing.
S - Initially, a very grainy & wheaty aroma presents itself. Not particularly sour on the aroma, but some lactic tartness is in there. The smell turns creamy & fruity towards the end. Somewhat of a buttery / diacetyl popcorn type aroma jumps out at me, to my surprise. Simple, but appealing.
T - Good sour / tartness. Not overdone, but it definitely scratches that sour itch. Creamy & fruity, but I wouldn't necessarily guess blueberries just by taste. Very juicy, fruity, and tart. A yeasty / bacterial finish.
M - Feel is sour & tart. Smooth, light, & easy-drinking. I could drink tons of this stuff. The sour seems to build over time. Very nice.
Overall, an excellent Berliner Weissbier from Pipeworks. Absolutely love this, and cannot wait for their sour program to expand. I look forward to what is to come.

A- Bright purple-red, almost neon. Unfortunately this might be the part
S- Tartness, mixed berries, cheap white wine
T- White wine with berries mixed in. Bit of tartness. I don't get Berliner???
F- Feeling is ok. Nice and light and fizzy
O- I love Pipeworks and I love berliners, so I was very, very pumped to try this. Just didn't turn out. I would love to see these the pipework guys team back up with Drew from 18th st/sour note to dial in the berliner, but add blueberries.

A nice sour beer for the summer. Great appearance makes for a fun beer. First sour I've had from Pipeworks.

Pours a gorgeous deep red-purple, straight up blueberry color, with a fair amount of active carbonation and a thin off-white layer of foam.
Huge blueberry/fruity aroma with a noticeable tangy acidity.
While rather subtle, the blueberry flavor shines through, tart, and rather sour.
Light-bodied, high carbonation, high acidity, tart, and fruity.
Overall, nothing extraordinary, but rather tasty nonetheless.

Very nice Berliner with a slight tart blueberry flavor. Well done for the style.

This is a solid example of the style, modestly tart and low on salt taste. The blueberry is nicely subtle
