Poured into a pint glass from a 22oz bottle.

Pours a nice hazy golden color with an awesome 1.5 inch pillowy white head. Qute dense and frothy and very sticky and with great retention.

Aroma start off grassy and fresh. Herbal and clean. There is some slight resinous pine notes but its mostly herbal notes. slight citrusy present. There is also a nice malty caramel backbone with some nice English style notes to it.

Flavor starts off with intense and interesting Nelson hop kick. Notes of herbal grass and hay with some slight grapefruit notes. Mild notes of tropical fruits such as papaya is also present. There is also a nice midl resinous note to the brew and it taste quite dank actually. The Nelson hops blend so well with the more traditional malt backbone. This features some slight caramel notes with a more bready and earthy backbone. That might be why it blends so well with the more earthy and robust hops. Mouthfeel is very crisp and slightly dry with a good bitter finish and a mild tartness that can be noted form the citrus note.

Overall, very impressed by this take on the EIPA. Pretty good hop choice for the malt body.
