Served in a wide-mouth chalice just for fun, closest I had to the traditional Berliner Kindl Weisse glass.
Color is an electric kool-aid reddish pink, with a finger of foam that melts away quickly, fading into an island of patchy skim, and a crescent shape of bubbles clinging to the opposite side of the glass.
Tart cranberry and vague wheaty aroma, some cranberry juice.
Crisp and puckering sourness, seems a touch more intense than Blue Lady & Well Read, but in the same ballpark. Simple and clean, more tart cranberry up front, finishing dry with some fleeting aftertastes of cranberry and sourdough yeast. No off flavors to speak of. Would make a nice apertif or sunny day quencher. Made a milkshake by blending half cup of Cranpire, half cup of cranberry sauce, 3 tbsp cream cheese, and 1/2 tbsp of strawberry vanilla sugar, and it tasted like cranberry cheesecake.

750 ml bottle served in a Pipeworks tulip. Batch #58
A: Pours a hazy grapefruit color with a light pink head forming on the pour. It recedes slowly to a wispy cap and thicker collar.
S: Musty on the nose. Cranberry and some wheat notes. A little greek yogurt sourness as well. Mild cheesy notes as it warms.
T: Tart cranberry initially on each sip. Creamy wheat. A little lactic sourness and a touch of fruity acidity. The finish is sweet and clean. As it warmed up a touch of blue cheese came out, but it wasn't out of the realm of normal and played nicely with the fruity sourness.
M: Light bodied with a medium high carbonation. Great mouthfeel with a little effervescence to it.
O: I like Well Read Temptress a tad more, but this was an extremely flavorful and easy drinking Berliner. Pipeworks is locking this style down and I'm excited to see what fruit variation is next!

(Served in a tulip glass)
Batch 58
A-This beer pours a hazy deep red with a strawberry blonde head of foam that last a good bit and a strong carbonation.
S- The slightly earthy cranberry fruit is fresh with a raw honey note growing as the beer opens. There is a mellow corn note underneath the fruit that has a slight yeasty tartness to it.
T- The tart fruit is sort of a cranberry soda flavor without the sweetness and a note of dry corn and yeast underneath. The dry tart finish is mostly fruit forward with hints of berliner weissbier underneath.
M- This beer has a light mouthfeel with a crisp finish but no astringency or alcohol.
O- This is a beer that is crisp and light but really has a nice fresh fruit flavor. I wouldn't mind a bit more beer tartness but the fruit is still well supported.
