Hazy amber Orange color with a thick head with short retention, but leaving laces.
Nice aroma of sweet oranges, caramel and pine.
Caramel malty flavor with hoppy pine notes and bold on spices.
Full body with medium carbonation and tiny bubbles. Alcohol of 10% abv is well hidden.
Good DIPA, a bit too sweet, but this is the original sin of several representants of the style. It has a hop profile that is relatively not aggressive for a DIPA. Past maturity date, though.

22oz bomber into a FW tulip. Batch 169 hand written on side.

Pours a dark cloudy copper color with a nice inch thick white head. The smell is very intense with tropical fruit and new zealand hops. The taste is also very sweet and fruity, bordering on too sweet but not quite there (something hoppy this way comes would be an example of just too sweet of a beer for my liking.) Tad of bitterness on the end but the tropical fruit really dominates the palate here. Sweetness is a bit high so the drinkability isnt huge for me, but its still quite good. Medium bodied, mild carbonation.

Overall a pretty good IPA from pipeworks. Fans of sweet IPAs will dig this one more.
