L: For a New England style IPA this looks very similar to a west coast style with that classic golden honey unfiltered look. About an inch of head that dissipates after about a minute on a semi-aggressive pour.
S: Knarly smell of sour passionfruit, with citrus notes and sweet malt back end of toffee and caramel.
T: Sweet and sticky citrus start with a sweet and sticky malt finish, with mild bitterness.
F: Medium body with a nice mouth feel
O: This is a very distinguished IPA out of this brewery that has a unique style and sweet taste, good work from this brewery.

Walked into the Craft Beer Cellar in Waterbury VT and asked them to point me to something good.
I walked out with 3 different bombers from Crop Bistro.
BA shows this as a DIPA but everything I see suggests this is an IPA.
A - Pours hazy orange with a big foamy head that settles slowly and leaves some nice lacing.
S - Not a strong aroma but I pick up some mango.
T - Flavors will not overpower you everything is very well balanced. A little citrus, a little malt, a little bitter. Very drinkable.
M - More carbonation than your usual IPA.
O - I really like this beer and would buy it all the time if I could. You may go to VT for Heady or Sip O Sunshine but don't walk past this one, it's a winner.

Pungent, Exotic, Grassy, Warmth

Another massive and very bold IPA to come from the NE, a pretty sharp bitterness is met by suggestions of tropical fruit like papaya, pomelo and guava with a kiss of blonde tobacco to boot. Bready malt barley peeks through to the palate.

Poured from the bottle into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Deep amount of chestnut brown, mixing with pale amber orange to yellow. Good booming three finger controlled simple white head, very creamy, excellent retention and staying power, not budging at all. Slightly cloudy if a touch turbid with some nice slow rising carbonation.

Aroma off the pour has some penny candy like character, but doesn't ever seem to re-appear again. More investigating shows, some dank earth, Dominant smell, but also a very good one if somewhat a one trick pony. Some mild sweetness hides in the back almost mint like.

Very neutral and simple palate. Orange based citrus qualities hit, taking much away from the expected earthiness the nose hints at. Not quite juiced, but supportive body, light yet not watery either. Excellent sweet malt finish almost gets into icing sugar territory but not quite and definitely not too sweet either.

A good solid straightforward IPA, nicely done. Sort of like the different contrast between hop in bouquet and hop in taste flavor.

-spiegelau ipa glass.

A: Dark tangerine coloring with a healthy rate of carbonation. 2 finger stone white head, with a strong rate of retention holds steady while leaving stratified rings of lacing down the vessel.

S: Sweet grapefruit pulp, perfumy, decent level of awareness, wet lemony with a soft fresh straw like finish. average duration.

T: Bittering lemon peel, straw and grapefruit peel. High level of bitterness, starting wet, finishing dry with some barley.

M: Lighter body, good carbonation, mid range here.

O: Wet lemony start with a high level of bittering grapefruit peel that lingers long after the swallow.
