Country Boy Brewing - Alpha Experiment: Mosaic. 7% ABV. 750ml bottle poured into a snifter. Bottled on 5/24/16.
Look: Body is light orangish in the glass, with minimal clarity. White fluffy 2 finger head leaves sticky lacing as it dissipates.
Smell: Grape, hops, and bready malt along with strong floral notes. Has a slight tartness on the nose.
Feel: Close to medium bodied, with mild carbonation,
Taste: Initially, the tart grape flavor is present, however is soon lost to floral notes, hops, and then finishes with the malty flavor.
Overall: I thought I already had this at the beerfest a few months back, but I guess not. Since always eager to try Country Boy beers, I picked it up the first time I saw it. As with all from them, this is good; nice combination of flavors with a great fruity aspect.

Pours golden with an orange hue and an off white head. Decent lacing left behind. Aroma offers a huge hit of some juicy passionfruit, kiwi, grape, and a hit of some buscuit. Flavor follows suit, it is definitely juicy and bright while only mildly bitter. A crisp, medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, hands down the best stuff from Country Boy I have yet to try. So juicy and tropical. Great stuff and right up there with West Sixth's IPA when it comes to local IPA's.
