For those who like their DIPAs a bit more fruity this is Country Boys best one yet. Lots of juicy tangerines, orange, citrus and nectarine this ends with only the slightest of bitterness. It's a bit thinner with some light caramel backbone but it's super easy to drink and at 8.5 % it will hit you in the head.

In a champion effort for the local sports team, the University of Kentucky's basketball campaign is met with a bold imperial IPA with a little grit, gumption and glory.

Its calm pour releases a dainty and quickly faltering head. Its rusty amber color preludes to the dark honey, toasted pecan and caramel malt character that carries to the nose and palate. With the citrus and pine of hops swirling about, the beer trends fruity, bitter and floral right from the start.

Medium sweet with the caramel, nutty and toasty backbone, the ale saturates the tastebuds with its sweetness. As the hop flavors retire its floral nature and capture the pink grapefruit, lemon, gooseberry and tangy orange flavor, the tilt goes from malty to drying. As bitterness gains steam, the grass, pine and herbal sassafras bite signals closure.

With a pep of alcohol and the bitterness firmly in control, the IPA is remarkably smooth and less intense with hops than many. Its balance will be a fan favorite for any UofK fan looking to jump on the hoppy bandwagon
