A: Pours a clear gold with a tight, clinging white head that laces deep into the glass.

S: Aromas of biscuit, minerals, and caramel give way to a citrusy hop scent.

T: Maltier than expected, with notes of cream, caramel, biscuits, and minerals first to emerge. These notes are quickly chased by traces of pine, spruce, lemon peel, lime zest, bitter orange, grass, green apple, and grapefruit. The finish is bitter and clipped with a delicate blend of grass, biscuit, caramel, and citrus flavors.

M: On the lighter side of medium, smooth, and dryish. Carbonation is delicate, but firm enough to let you know that you're drinking an IPA. Alcohol is extremely restrained, and in fact, it's not really noticeable at all. This ale could easily sneak up on you.

O: A nice, easy drinking IPA that is tremendously refreshing on a hot day. Compared to the brewery's other takes on this style, Cliff Jumper is not as resinous or fruity, but it is remarkably mellow and balanced. I could see this being a good gateway IPA for aspiring hopheads.

A solid, well made ipa. Big hop aroma and flavor with a solid, clean malt bill with a nice, crisp finish. First time trying these guys. Nice beers from this brewery, this IPA was my favorite. Also tried the strawberry wild ale.

Had on tap at a local restaurant. An overall fine IPA with a lot of citrus notes and a good malt backbone. Drank it with hot Buffalo Wings and it paired quite nicely. I would certainly recommend anyone who enjoys this style to give this one a try.

I got a six of this at a gas station near our hotel in Nashville whilst there for a hockey tournament. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of citrus peel. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus peel and pine presence. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a solid beer.

Dark almost brown in the center, the color was lighter orange around the edges. The head was stiff and bubbly but was gone in seconds.

The scent was mostly malt and pine, subtle but aromatic, I enjoyed the aroma .

The taste followed the nose with a rich malt flavor and floral piney hops. The description given by Country Boy is that a single hop is used and produces citrus flavor and I get that with tangerine, melon and orange.

The feel is silky smooth with limited carbonated feel to make this a great beer for a hot July day.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of tropical fruits, citrus. Taste is passion fruit, mango, some citrus, juicy, moderate bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall this is an enjoyable beer.
