Thanks to my bird seed eating, flood pants wearing friend beerisheaven for this, from a brewery I have ne’er heard from before. Gold waxed 750ML bottle, 5 of 173, batch 1. Split with my wife.

The pour is dense orange with minimal head, even when poured from a height nigh to the slopes of Olympus. The nose is light peaches & a sharp tartness. Interesting but simple.

Marigolden is more wine than beer. From the now nearly absent carbonation to the tartness to the light mouthfeel, this is lacking only rough acidity to convince me it didn’t come from Sonoma Valley. Plenty of Georgia Peach as it warms up. Ends with a touch of wood, light citric acidity. It gets high marks for a poundable wild ale; not puckering enough to make me want to give up after two ounces.

It’d be fun to put this on the table for a bunch of wine lovers & see if they could even tell it’s a beer; I’d give them a 50/50 shot. Good tart brew.

Pours a frothy golden yellow. A nice finger thick head mellows to a laced ring around the glass. The nose is funky tart fruit! Goes down smooth. Beautiful layers of flavor! Apricots and tart citrus explode on my taste buds. Well balanced and super delicious! Tuckahoe needs to brew this more often!!!
