My first offering from Buffalo Bayou. A very nice color on this one, with a great deep chocolate brown with light reddish-brown tinges around the edge where the light shines through. Aromas are heavy with vanilla and a back of chocolate and coffee. Taste is decent, with the vanilla now taking a back seat and the coffee and bittersweet chocolate moving up front. Balance is decent, a little watery, but overall, a decent beer

From backlog. On draft at Alamo Taphouse, February 2015.
Really enjoyed this. Ordered it as a dessert beer, and it fit the role perfectly. Relatively sweet, lots of chocolate and vanilla, with enough coffee flavor and bitterness to balance the sweetness. Mouthfeel seemed a bit thin, but very smooth and drinkable.

Tan head. Black I color. This beer is exactly what it is supposed to me. Vanilla, coffee, roasted malts, chocolate. Big stout with great flavors. Easy to drink and enjoyable. One of the better ones I have had from this brewery.
