On tap at the Hay Merchant.

The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma has a ton of lemon notes in it, as well as some wheat and yeast. The flavor is a little more complex. I get the same lemon from the aroma, but it is complimented by some strong basil and coriander notes. There is also a strong wheat backbone. Easy to drink. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

A: Don't know how to describe the color? At first, murky orange/yellow. After it settles, more clear yellow color. A minimal white head and no lace.
S: At first I get a sulfur like aroma. Next come some wheat aromas, light lemon and citrus aromas as well. If not for the sulfur, this would be a lot better.
T: No sulfur here. Wheat, spicy coriander, with some lemon and citrus peal.
M/D: A light to medium body. Not under carbonated, but not the great crisp dryness I want in the style. Not hard to drink at all. Easy to drink and no frills.

Another one of Buffalo Bayou's many Wit variations. Probably the one that I would come back to, but there are still plenty of other local options I will go to before this again.

Had it on tap at the flying saucer.

First off I love Buffalo Bayou and just about every thing they put out. Sadly this was not a winner. The first sip wasn't bad it was okay tasted almost as expected, like a wit, smelled a little bit flowery. The second sip I took it tasted like hot dog water and that got worse and worse as I tried to power through it. But this is the only beer I have ever sent back for something better in my life, it was disappointing because it had been talked up to be by someone at the brewery on their opening weekend, I was expecting something a lot better.
