Seemed to be a very dumpy place the Friday afternoon I visited. Beer and service were very pedestrian. Certainly not a “hip” craft brewery. I would not visit again.

Very convenient to downtown, and was very crowded during the Holiday Lights festival and so the service was a little slow. The beer selection was bolstered by New Belgium and others, but it was kind of disappointing to have a very limited choice of their own brews. The brown and the IPA were okay, good enough for making an occasional visit.

Stopped in for lunch today
The place is not purpose built, but was a fairly nice place to eat & drink & hold a conversation
Quality of the 5 house beers ranged average to good. The IPA was the best with the Saison being a not so close second
I'll rate the selection good, due to the ther fine craft beers on offer ( SN, New Belgium & Boulevard )
Food (all pizza) in our case was tasty, they also do salads, sandwiches & desserts
Thought the beer was a touch pricey except for the sampler tray $4 for 5x 3 ozs. Food was reasonable
I would hit this place again, if in the area

Finally got a chance to stop in and give this place a try since they started brewing in November of last year.
The brewery is small (4 barrel) and there are only 2 fermenters, but they had 6 beers on tap (Blonde, American Wheat, Brown, IPA, Chocolate Stout, and DIPA). They also have 6 other good beers on tap. I didn't see a bottle list since I was interested in the house beers.
The beers were good. I found the Brown surprisingly good. It's an American style brown that's bigger than your average Newcastle with lots of depth. The IPA was great with a nicely balanced blend of West Coast hops and malt. The favorites were the stouts. The Chocolate Stout was good, but the star of the day was the Mexican Chocolate Stout with ancho peppers, and cinnamon.
The food is pretty standard for a pizza restaurant in a college town with pizza, sandwiches, and salads. Tasty and reasonable.
West Mountain is located right off "The Square" in on a corner overlooking the school. I look forward to coming back and trying more of their beers.
