I smell grapes! Lots of grapes & a little vinegar & a hint of malt. And that was just from the pop of the cork. Lovely cola color (it matches my Fender bass). Taste was a big surprise, I was expecting grapes & sourness but grain is the dominant flavor. Very complex flavor, grain, grapes, fruitiness, a hint of vinegar sourness & hoppy bitterness, all nicely balanced. I was really surprised the the sourness was so muted. Excellent.

Not my favorite style. Simply put I taste a carbonated sweet white wine coupled with a mild bitter beer.
While not a fan of (white) wine this beer is obviously disappointing. There's also very little complexity, there's this overwhelming sweet/sour wine note that beats the beer notes by a big margin
I cannot give this beer a low score, because it is drinkable and I am not familiair with this style, so it would be unfair, but I will never buy it again.

Dark auburn almost brown; excellent clarity; off white head;quick cap reduction; spotty lace at best. Tart fruit/rhubarb nose; whiff of barnyard and wet horse blanket. Tart dark fruit, cherries and prunes; semi sweet berries, raspberry and boisenberry vs. lightly bitter rhubarb flavors. Medium lite mouthfeel and lite carbonation. Overall, complex sugary fruit overlapping tart fruit overlapping bitter fruit - mingling with horse blanket coarseness. And the carbonation keeps it light and airy. Excellent.

I was happy to find this beer in a Bar in Changzhou, China. the reminiscence of Belgium are enough to make it highly enjoyable.

2015 blend. Pours a deep opaque brown with a smallish head and just spotty lacing. Nose is underwhelming. A bit musty, a little twang, mand pretty dull. Flavor is mildly sour, a little bright acidity. No funk or vinuos qualities really. Nothing wrong with this beer, but not much going on even as it warms to room temp.

Had this many times, most recently a few days ago during the tournament, thanks Jordan.

Comes in its own paper bag. Mild red and light brown color with some dark gold mixed in for fun. Thin head. Looks equal parts Flanders Red and Brown. Aroma reveals lots of old school acetic acid resulting in the phrase balsamic vinegar being thrown around. A little bit of citrus and oak. Mild tartness, totally smacks of sour beer blended with non sour.

Decent carbonation and light body. A very old school kind of beer.

2014 Vintage

L - Cola like with a thin beige head

S - quite complex, acidic

T - Tart and complex, a real treat...

F - greath mouthfeel

O - A truly great beer, more and more complex as it warms up, best enjoyed near room temperature. Paired really nicely with St Marcellin cheese. It's really drinkable for the high abv, drink it like a wine.
