A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a three finger high dark beige head that started looking like craters of the moon and took a very long time to die down, consistently leaving a finger high head covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of roasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of dark and roasted malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied, dry, and a little smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This porter is very dry and rich. The only thing that was detracting was the oversized head, which made it a little difficult to drink.

330ml bottle.Pint glass.Black appearance, beige crown.Good retention & spotty lacing.Floral aromas, toasted malt, hints of chocolate, fresh tobbaco & slightly earthy citric character. Sweet toasted malt & smooth bitter flavors, black chocolate touches.Kind In the middle, sharp bitterness is softened by oatmeal character leaving a velvet palate sensation.Dry coffee finish.Creamy medium body, medium carbonation.Gentle toasted malt aftertaste, slightly woody hues.Oatmeal singularity matches & balances mouthfeel.A perfect spot eventhough of the Robust Porter style.Easy & pleasant drinkability.Excellent blue cheese pairing.

Bought a single 330ml (11.2 ounce) bottle for just $1.99, marked down from $6.99 and of course had to buy it. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a snifter glass. Sediment is seen in the bottle of the bottle after the pour.

Brew pours close to a pitch-black in color with a good 4-finger foamy beige head. A decent amount of lacing was seen when sipped. Aroma is of roasted malts for the most part. Bit more going on with the taste as there is a hint of spice with a hint of un-sweetened Baker's chocolate (?) with a hint of smoke maybe also. Some bitterness is noted for the finish and is dry. Medium-bodied with above average carbonation.
