Very Good
Notes: Oat Saison brewed with 50% malted oats and 50% 2-Row malted barley. Gently hopped with Cascade. Viscous and delicious!

I had this on tap at the cafe served chilled in a 1/2 pint.

the color is pale golden like a hefe with thick white cape, lace sticks well and carbonation is visible. The smell is very yeast heavy with phenolic almost medicinal smell up front with slight herbal hop aroma. The feel is very good, great actually, pretty bitter but smooth bitterness and gentle yeast feel with moderate carbonation and spice tinged finish.

The taste is very good with lots of pepper and yeast with is pear like in flavor with mild herbal hops covering the medicinal aspect the smell brought forth with a nice fruity hoppy finish. overall I would recommend this as it fits the style but I prefer a lest phenolic yeast the hops do a good job of covering though in the taste.

White head. Fades away fast. Pale yellow.

Flavors are a fair amount of spice. Oats are present. Kind of bready. Grassy hops. Lemon Zest. Kind of has a citrus flavor.

Mouthfeel: zesty and dry. Medium bodied.

Overall, a solid saison but a bit too dry and spiced. One glass is enough.

First had: on tap at TH

Hazy, pale, golden-yellow pour with a thin white cap that sank to a ringlet, leaving some spotty lacing on the glass. Saisony aroma, wet hay, yeast, subtle fruity esters. Taste was similar, pretty standard stuff in Saisonland, hay, light peppery spice, subtle notes of pear and peach, yeasty, with a mild herbal finish. Light-medium body, decent overall.
