I really love plum Saisons.

Nose is slightly tart with notes of spice and remnants of plum A lot like plum skin and light flesh.

Flavor has more tart but definitely not overly sour. Plum, citrus and and earthy spice follow.

Super dry and drinkable.

Batch 2 (purple wax)

Nice appearance.

Aroma is the best part about this beer. Plums smell like they were rolled in baking spice (wonderful nutmeg/cinnamon aroma detected).

Flavor is good with the plums adding a dry, fleshy-fruit character. Not too sour or vinegary (which is a characteristic I find undesirable in a sour).

Medium body with crisp carbonation.

A wonderful sour and another Tired Hands beer ticked off my list. Keep them coming, Jean!

This was an awesome saison. Plum is subtle but noticeable. The carb is perfect. Body is light to medium bodied. Slight pink orange hue, nice white lasting head.

Batch 2. 500ml bottle poured into a teku

Appearance: Pours a light red, with hints of orange. 1 fingers of white head dissipates to a thick collar. Body is lightly hazy with light visible carbonation.

Smell: Plum, peppery yeast, light earthy funk and some mild oaken.

Taste: Similar to the aroma. Plum, hay, mild funk, fresh grain, light/medium lactic sourness, oak and red grape.

Mouthfeel: Light/medium bodied with a soft, almost lightly creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Finishes mostly dry.

Overall: Another great one in the emptiness series. Worth seeking out.

Another thanks to rudzud for sharing, batch 1.

No real head, somewhat hazy slight golden orange red color.

Nose is pretty nice, big fruity aroma, vinous musty grape and light wine, big Brett funk, barnyard and phenolic acidic sour sharp Brett, oxygenated Brett thing, nice plums juicy.

Taste brings big tart acidic funk, almost lambic like sour acidity, flemmy, nice plum, nice vinous wine flavours, musty skin, etc. Plenty of funky Brett, sour Brett and little barnyard funk. So tart and sour, juicy sour fruit, blends with phenols and big acetic acid, faint tannin there, late, like berry seed. Finish long tart sour fruit and flemmy, vinous, light buttery oak way on the back end.

Mouth is med to lighter bod, little flemmy, lighter carb, big acidity.

Overall pretty good, nice funk, nice sourness and tart fruity with light plum and vinous notes, wish the plum was a bit more.

Batch 1 400 bottle count. Shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a crystal honey hue with a thin hardly there head that fades quickly to light wisps.

S - Aromas of pleasant plum fruit notes, very nice funk with good brett notes. Slightly oxygenated with, some light sweetness.

T - Taste is nicely tart, good sour fruit with subtle plum vinous notes. The finish is rather flemmy, with a green berry seed. Quite tannic as well with faint vanilla and some oak goodness.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, quite flemmy.

O - Overall this beer was pleasant, nice plum notes, really good funk and tartness. Just really flemmy.
