Very Good
Notes: Sour Farmhouse IPA (or something like that). Brewed in the style of Berliner Weisse (50% wheat & primary lactobacillus fermentation), then fermented with our house saison yeast, and then dry hopped aggressively with the mighty Citra hop!

32oz. growler into Tired Hands stemware. Shared with schen9303.

Pours a .25 finger foamy white head that dissipates quickly. Beer is a slightly cloudy pale yellow. Lacing is stringy and layered with great stick. Pretty solid.

Nose is yeasty, slightly tart and crisp with spices and fresh lemon zest. Clean.

Opens yeast, coriander, peppercorn, and lemon zest. Slight tartness in the middle with more floral notes. Ends crisp with a peppery bitterness. Aftertaste of straw and flower petals. Interesting blend of Saison and berlinerweisse. I like it.

Light bodied with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively in the mouth and goes down slightly puckering and dry. Quick finish with a slightly lingering, filmy aftertaste. Real refreshing.

Easy drinking, simple, to the point and very enjoyable. Worth trying and certainly one of the more interesting offerings in the style.

First had: on tap at TH

Hazy, pale yellow pour, a finger or so of foamy white head, which sank to a ringlet and left some soapy lacing on the glass. Light lacto tartness in the aroma, notes of lemon, peach, toasted wheat. Similar taste, sour wheat, lemon, peach, maybe some berries in the mix too, with a musty, saison-like grassiness trying to peek through. Light-medium body, medium carb, crisp with light tartness, but nowhere near puckering. Good overall.
