IPA Brewed with oats. Hopped with Mosaic, Citra, Chinook, Centennial and Columbus. An otherworldly IPA. Bow down before the ALien Church! Notes of blueberries, fresh orange slices, dank, deep pine, honeydew melons.
(The first 2 batches were hopped with Mosaic, Citra, and Chinook)

16 oz can from 3/4/16 release poured into IPA glass.
A: Fluffy, four-fingered head, very hazy, sort of a light apple cider or papaya color. About 1/8" head remains with nice lacing.
S: Juicy fruit, bubblegum, vanilla. Cream soda.
T: Soft, sweet maltiness with pine and grapefruit.
M: Really silky, assume the oats didn't hurt.
O: Another turgid, beautifully hopped winner from TH. Oats give it a luxurious smoothness.

On tap. Heavy lacing of glass. Nice golden color. Not too hazy. Nice mix of citrus followed by bitterness. Tangy carbonation feel on tongue. Like it.

Canned 10/23/23 . Let sit out for 10 minutes before opening.
Hazy yellow, with not-quite two fingers of long-lasting ivory head . Got tired of waiting (thumbs-up ) , but eventually there was substantial sheets of lacing.
Smell is fresh-squeezed orange juice, but of higher intensity than the actual thing, slight pine solvent, but less piney than that suggests, a little mango, plus hints of kiwi, grapefruit, melon, and fresh, crackery malt.
Taste is fresh orange, candied orange rind, pineapple, lime zest, grapefruit, and hints of mango, kiwi, melon, mango(did I mention "mango"? ;) ) , and papaya. Light-medium, lingering bitterness, starting near finish.
Feel is lightly creamy, with light, very, very fine, sharp carbonation tingle & burn coming in on the latter half. Finishes drier, with lingering sanded-off feel on front of tongue.
Overall, entirely a pleasure! Love the bitterness balancing the lightly-sweet elements. This has been missing in my recent beer-life, & I welcome it back. :) My first exposure to Tired Hands, & am looking forward to more. :)

OK, but i want more in my Tired Hands, this was your standard NEIPA but without a bell or whistle. Felt a liitle bit course when i want juicy. Average for TH.

Pours a hazy gold with a thumb of cream-colored head. Sheets of lacing & good head retention
S: Tropical fruits, a touch of cattyness, cantaloupes; great nose
T: Grapefruit, pomelo, green melon, limes& a touch pineyness up front, lending some dryness. Some sweet orange sneaks around the grapefruit & pomelo, a little more pine & passion fruit along with dryness as this beer warms up, plus a little pineapple. Finishes a little dry with grapefruit, pine , green melon. passion fruit & a touch of dankness
MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation, good balance
Super solid hazy offering, based on the nose I thought it might be sweeter? Still drank great

Received a can from JZeilinger 10-13-23. Canned 8-9-23; consumed 10-26-23. Cold stored since acquisition.
Beer poured hazy gold with a very nice white head.
Nose has notes of tropical and citrus fruits.
Taste is a pale malt base that allows a hop expression of grapefruit, orange, and a touch of berry. Finishes with a nice pine bitterness, 8/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and refreshing.
Overall i really dig this brew; if i was tasting blind this comes across as a WCIPA given the perceived bitterness.

Poured from a can dated 8/19/23
Nice semi cloudy yellow orange color, decent white soapy head, well layered lacing and nice cap.
Aroma is noticeable right from the time it’s opened. Tropical woodsy aroma follow by orange rind ,berries and casaba melon ( combination of honey dew and cantaloupe)
Taste is hoppy, oat notes, kind of grassy outdoorsy notes, citrus, melon and berries.
Mouthfeel is kind of light starts semi sweet and finishes on the astringent side. Medium carbonation and fizz on the back of the tongue
Over all it’s a nice balance of flavors and feel. Great looking beer and a solid IPA
