Saison brewed with red rye and fermented with our Emptiness yeast culture (Brett/lacto/whatever man). Super melon-y, citric, spicy, and all around pungent.

Poured from a 1 day old 32oz growler into a wine glass.
Appearance: Pours a hazy orange color with just a hint of a white head that settles to a thin ring.
Smell: Apple, white grape, funk, melon, peppery spice.
Taste: Medium tartness on the palate that carries through to the finish. Flavors of melon, pepper (stronger than in the aroma), lemon rind, funk, slight grassiness and a hint of tropical fruit.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with low-ish carbonation. Finishes really dry.
Overall: Another winner from Tired Hands. Not quite on par with some of their bottled saisons, but still absolutely worth a try.

On tap at TH.
This was not a wild ale, rather a rye saison fermented with TH's Emptiness yeast strain. Golden-orange color, hazy of course, with a foamy white head that sank to a ringlet and left shards of lacing on the glass. Lots of funk going on in the aroma, notes of wet grass and fleshy fruit. Taste was funky, earthy, flavor of a dirty watermelon rind that still has hay on it (I mean this in a good way), toasted grains, peppery spice, herbal hops. Pungent and full of flavor. Medium body, good drinkability, nice for the style.
