Very Good
Notes: Raspberry & Sorrel Saison. Brewed with wheat and fresh sumac harvested from our family farm in New Paultz, NY. Hopped with Cascade. Fermented atop fresh red raspberries.

On tap at TH.

Reddish-amber color, hazy, with a small white head that dissipated to a wispy layer. Fruity aroma, herbal, toasted wheat. Crisp juicy raspberry in the taste, with a candy-like yet still natural sweet/sour taste, light tartness, toasted wheat bread, herbal dried grass. Pretty nice. Light-medium body, mostly crisp mouthfeel, with a slightly syrupy finish. A good fruit beer.

32oz growler poured into a DFH signature glass

Appearance: Pours a golden orange color with a reddish hue. 1+ finger of a white head settles to a thin foam coating and collar. Body is extremely hazy and barely translucent.

Smell: Raspberry, peppery yeast, melon, wheat and slightly floral.

Taste: Follows the aroma. Sweet and tart raspberry, strawberry, saison yeast, wheat, grass.

Mouthfeel: Fairly light bodied with a somewhat soft mouthfeel and medium, fine carbonation. Finishes tart.

Overall: Another good one from Tired Hands. The raspberry is integrated really well and doesn't overwhelm the base beer. Hope they brew this one again.
