Very Good
Notes: Saison fermented entirely in Cabernet Franc barrels with a blend of our favorite yeast and bacteria. Pungent and bright!

32 oz growler poured into a Teku. Served about 24 hours after the growler was filled.

Appearance: Pours a bright peach color with 1 finger of a white head that settles to a thin ring. Body is extremely hazy.

Smell: Peach, sweet melon, tropical fruit, pineapple, hint of red wine, dry saison yeast and white pepper. Very juicy smell.

Taste: Tart and lightly sweet upfront with melon, orange, pepper, grain and a general tropical note without one fruit standing out. The mild sweetness upfront completely dries out by the finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, somewhat soft-ish mouthfeel. Medium/low, fine, but prickly carbonation. Finishes dry. Relatively high drinkability.

Overall: One of Tired Hands better saisons, and certainly one of their best non bottled ones. Definitely worth trying before it kicks.
